Stefania Bariatti

Stefania Bariatti is a Professor of Private International Law, University of Milan. She was the President of the Special Commission of the Hague Conference on Private International Law on the Law applicable to certain rights on securities held through an intermediary (9-17 January 2002) and is a member of the Italian Delegation at the Committee on Civil Law Matters of the Council of the European Union (2002). She has been a member of the Editorial Board of the Rivista di diritto internazionale privato e processuale – CEDAM, Italy since 1985 and an editor of the Rivista di diritto civile – CEDAM, Italy since 2002.
